VRijland a tv show on Zapp is being rerun this summer. The series follows the adventures of a group of children in a small village. I play Janice Landvreugd the mother of Soraya Landvreugd. Nice part to play and my 'daughter' experiences a lot of adventures. The show has been really succesfull Thanks for that :-) The DVD is now on sale.
Furthermore, we have had our first big hit with our production company Sunshiptree with the Queen of Paramaribo a musical theater production, based on the novel by Clark Accord. The lyrics were written by me and as the artistic director I was involved in every process. Great that you all came to see it! We had an average occupancy of more
80%. Not too bad in these tough economical times. Big thanks to all visitors! Also on behalf of my dear Clark, who passed away May 2011. We miss him terribly but we will continue our work, which was one of his last wishes.
Every Monday and Friday I'm the anchor for Dichtbij Nederland a radioshow from 9pm till midnight on Radio 5. A very varied news and culture show with a lot of (live) music.
